Tens of Iranian pilgrims apply for visa at a Tehran institute affiliated with the Iraqi Embassy on November 12, 2016.
The travelers set to attend the mourning ritual of Arba’een in the holy city of Karbala, which this year falls on November 20.
Arba’een marks the end of the 40-day mourning period following the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions on Ashura.
